So... 'Rock of Ages'... unsure.gif

Where did this new game come from? What were we thinking of when we decided to make a game that is so different from our past projects? The following is just a brief insight about how we came up with Rock of Ages, which was referred to as 'Boulder' when we started working on the concept.

Gamasutra has posted a lengthy article about Zeno Clash's development process with the classic 'what went right' and 'what went wrong' items. Zeno Clash SDK released

Posted by Andres Bordeu, Jul 28 2009, 03:17 PM in Development

We're finally releasing the editing tools so the Zeno Clash community can develop their own levels and modifications for the game. We've created a Wiki entry with documentation so users can browse through the main changes and enhancements we've added to the Source Engine. The ACE Team wiki and SDK files are located at the following URL:

http://wiki.aceteam.cl

We invite users to contribute to the existing wiki information and experiment or develop custom content for the game. The official discussion area to ask about the tools or discuss about custom content will be the newly added 'editing' area in our forums:

Zeno Clash forums - Editing

We hope everyone enjoys this content release and we look forward to new developments by the Zeno Clash community.

Design: Making the Logos

Posted by Edmundo Bordeu, Mar 11 2009, 10:01 AM in Development

I thought this brief description about how we got to the name of the game and then how I made the game and company logos could be interesting to tell (I did study design, so at least this kind of thing does interest me), so here it goes....
