We are releasing a post launch Zeno Clash trailer to celebrate the announcement of ACE Team’s next project; Zeno Clash 2. The studio has begun planning the next game of the series which will continue the adventures of Ghat, who will struggle against new and old conflicts. Father Mother, the mysterious Golem and new characters will be making an appearance in the next title. The story will be set after the events that take place in the first game.
Zeno Clash post-release Trailer
ACE Team wants the next installment to be much larger in scope, so the new game will feature open ended gameplay with large explorable environments and RPG elements. The unique melee combat system that made the first game a success will also be expanded to feature even more brutal and engaging gameplay.

Explorable environments? RPG elements? Even more moves in the combat system?
Holy crap, it's as if you guys read our minds. Awesome.

Haha looks like you guys did alright after all great job. I seriously can't wait for this but it sounds like this game might take a while to finish. I do hope we still see a bit more content for Zeno Clash in the mean time.
Surprised in the video you guys didnt use the Rock Paper Shotgun quote, " only someone with a dangerous mind wouldnt enjoy it" I reckon that's the best quote yet for the game and so apt.
Oh and if you give out the same 50% discount on early preorders I may have to buy a copy or five

The corridor shooter type of levels were exactly what I didn't like about Zeno Clash. A more open world sounds very good. RPG elements were another thing I was missing. Something similar to Butcher's Bay.

Awesome news ACE! I could always go for some more Ghat.
Also, thanks for the update yesterday. It addressed all the right issues.

one more thing: can i suggest a mac version of ZC2?
it's a little of a turn off to have to quit all programs and restart in order to play.
it IS well worth it for ZC!!! but if it wasn't too much of a trouble (it probably is)...

I beat the game many times, and I still feel the need to start it again and have a few fights in the tower. You cannot hurry enough with a zeno clash 2, it is already needed around here.
But please, do think about new content for zeno clash 1 while we wait. Maybe a (paying) extention with a few new levels or part of the story in it... A bit like what half life 2 did with their episodes. That would be nice!

While I agree with DrakenLord that some additions, at least updating the Ultimate Edition for PC would be awesome and beyond epic, I know Ace is a small team, and can't handle so many projects, what, with Rocks of Ages and Zeno-kacking-Clash TWO underway, at the same time.
Also, yay for Ace!

Good job and good luck guys.
