Having a great time with the game; absolutely love it! I appreciate some of the foliage, crabs and white apes! I suspect I might run into a few more familiar elements as I continue playing. cool.gif

Who knows, one of the monsters of "questionable production value" might be a corwid's distant cousin...

EDIT: aaaand.. Scarlet Nova, wielding a pole-arm and having the attack sounds of Pincoya! There seems to be a picture forming of a splintered lineage...

Dam, you guys aren't supposed to notice all those recycled things! So tempting to just grab those little props instead of doing them all over again. Who's going to notice, right??? Or so we thought... :-)

I noticed a few familiar sounds (both from Abyss Odyssey I think).
Just pretend it was intentional and says there's a splintered lineage between the games like sere suggested.

B-sides the sound library, there are some subtle references to B-movies and sci-fi peppered throughout.

A double post might be tacky but I didn't want to start a new thread. I was looking at steam's randomized background for AO earlier and it had a closeup of there warlock's face. Guess who he looked like? YEP, DAN SMITH!!

The warlock and Dan Smith are the same person! The deadly tower of monsters appears isolated at sea but more than that, what of the East Golem's tower?

Tongue-in-cheek, people. The warlock face looked exactly like Dan Smith, though =o
