Just wanted to share a great mod that I found around:


Here is the page of the project. You can download it here for those who don't understand french.

It runs on the FarCry engine (the old one) and it seems to have some similarities (even if not intended) with this other great thing I found around:

I studied french in high school and my teacher told me I was good at it, but forgot most of it by now, still, the grammar and many words are very similar to spanish so it's not that hard to read it...

Fore those who are not familiar with the Studio background here are some of the mods/projects several of us developed many years ago, when we were making games as a hobby. Perhaps someone has heard/played some of them:

The Dark Conjunction (Total-Conversion for Quake 3): Single player action/suspense adaptation with progressive story and scripted sequences, (inspired by Half Life). First single player with NPCs to hit Q3. Requires Q3 to run.

Batman DOOM (DOOM 2 Total-Conversion): Our first publicly released mod. Complete remake of the 32 levels, monsters & weapons so the player is in Gotham City playing the Dark Knight. Has a bunch of cool tricks in it. Requires DOOM 2 to run (recommended source port: ZDoom).

Zanzan (ZDoomGL Total-Conversion): Edmundo's story oriented single player experience. This one is hard to get to work because the source material was produced a long time ago and the port has been modified ever since. Requires DOOM 2 & ZDoomGL. Very cool!!!

Never heard/see/play of your mods, sorry. Never play at DOOM2 too so... Quake3 I took some multiplayers mods but never a single player for this game.

Well, I all my nearly all my gaming time over the last month has been devoted to the excellent HL2 mod - Pirates, Vikings and Knights 2 www.pvkii.com
It has got very nice melée combat, although admittedly some flaws. I wonder if this mod's melée will be similar to the melée in Zeno Clash? Because it has been mentioned a number of times that the combat system in Zeno Clash will be based around melée.

I played one of the very early versions of Pirates, Vikings and Knights. The combat system was very different from ZC's. Our system would be unappropriate for a multiplayer game, so I don't think there will be much similarities. However, I'm curious about how the mod has progressed, so I'll give it a download and check it out.

Perfect Stride Continuum is a neat HL2 mod. Be sure to watch the video on that page. Interesting art and sound, and the gameplay is totally different.

wouldn't call it unusual... its similar to strafejumping... just without jumping^^
