Exactly, but in the same level you do both. You roll down the hill and try to destroy the castle gate. Destroying the gate takes several impacts which means you have to roll down many times. While you wait for your new boulder you defend your territory. Maps are symmetrical and players both attack and defend in the game. Hola de nuevo! Really? While the enemy is driving the rock, can you still put obstacles? Cuz that would require a really fast interface :B When the enemy is controlling the rock, does the camera go free? Or does it stay with the rock? Do you require momentum? Or it just depends on amount of times hit? Gracias! Lucius Wrath (Luciusfilmex) -------------------- |

Nowadays, taking into account how mobile sector growth, it is almost necessity to release such arcade game for Android and iOS platforms also.
Please P.S. It can be even more fun taking into account that modern Androids\iDevices have gyroscope sensor, that can be used for Rock control |

That's something we'll probably look in to after the game is released on it's target platforms. Who wouldn't love to see a special edition of the game on the iOS?

However, we are looking into implementing split screen for the PC (one player plays with mouse+keyboard and the other with controller) - but this isn't confirmed yet... so don't take this as an official confirmation on the split screen for PC. Keep your fingers crossed. |

We would be happy if we can get splitscreen on our PC game (since it is supported in the Xbox and PS3 versions). |

Since it is considered to have split-screen support for pc, while someone still has to bear to play with mouse and keybord. It sounds like, that only one gamepad per computer will be supportet. Or if split-screen is available, will it then also be possible to use two gamepads?

Our initial setup will most likely be one player with mouse & keyboard and the second player using the Xbox 360 controller. If we realize that there's a lot of interest in this feature we might consider giving support to extra controllers down the road. |

We will release a demo. I'm assuming you are asking about the PC version, because the XBLA and PSN builds must bring a trial experience by default. We're not 100% sure it will be available on launch (we will try to have it by then).

I actually got a question about the gameplay.
Now from what I heard, your goal (in the war gameplay mode) is to break through the door of the enemy castle. Wouldn't it be far more efficient to avoid hitting any enemy targets at all on your way to the castle ? Doesn't this on the other hand take away the fun of being able to destroy all kinds of buildings? Or is there some kind of advantage for bulldozing all the stuff your opponent has put up? Second Question: Are the units you are placing on the map, also only used as obstacles or do they have some other kind of purpose?(I saw them moving up a hill in one trailer, but do they actually try to attack your opponent, or is it just for fun?) |

Hi Fireborn. Good questions. Here's some feedback:
* Destroying every single unit will slow you down and damage your boulder, risking breaking off layers and falling to smaller boulder sizes (which damage the gate less). However, there's certainly several occasions where you'll want to destroy units. Catapults and other offensive units are weak and worth crushing if you can manage to evade the projectiles -this way you'll avoid getting fired at during subsequent charges. Destroying units also gives you gold, so rolling over the already existing buildings is a way to gather more resources. Also, getting around obstacles will most likely not be the best way to go if you need to win time. Many times crushing through a set of defenses is the best way to go if your boulder is high on health. * Not every single unit has offensive purposes. For instance you can place mines that produce gold regularly. You'll want to put these somewhere difficult to reach because if they are destroyed they give a lot of gold to your opponent. There are moving units that attack the boulder like cows and elephants. |
