ACE Team Board _ Editing _ zeno clash multiplayer released

Posted by: tschumann Dec 28 2016, 07:25 AM

After a lot of tinkering with the Source SDK I finally got multiplayer working in Zeno Clash. You can download the results at
It's still a work in progress - you can't respawn, melee weapons don't do damage and you can't choose your player model but all players can enter combat mode.

Whoa! We'll definitely have to give this a go! :-)

Let me know how it goes.
Hopefully I can fix those other problems eventually too.

I've released a small update:
Now you can install it to your sourcemods directory and the console will work. The server browser is also slightly more usable but it still can't find other games yet.

Cool! Have you received any kind of feedback from players that have played it?

Still haven't had a moment to try it out here (super swamped with RoA2 sad.gif )

No nothing yet - not many downloads either but it's still not quite playable enough to play (it's usable but no respawning isn't great).

Hopefully I can sort out the server browser for the next version, and maybe respawning too - I think the joingame command respawns you but it seems like it respawns you in the knocked out state. I guess there's a method in CZeno_Player to make the player get up again but it doesn't look the get up animation is called by name so it probably won't be easy to find.

Keep up the good work with Rock of Ages 2 anyway!

Ok, thanks! Good luck with those technical problems. Hopefully they're not too hard to sort out.
