Here's a sneak peek of the recording of the main theme of Zeno Clash 2. Professional musicians performing in this video were accompanied by members of the choir of the Municipal Theater of Santiago - one of Chile's most prestigious cultural organizations. You can also get a glimpse of Patricio Meneses (director and composer) waving his arms like a madman smile.gif

The full soundtrack of the game (which contains over 40 tracks!) comes as part of the 'Special Edition' of the Steam copy of Zeno Clash (which also includes an awesome digital Artbook). A preview of some of the Artbook pages is also present in the video.

Put on a nice pair of headphones and enjoy the music! cool.gif

Nice.

Out of curiosity, have any of your previous titles had that much effort (like using professionals) for their soundtracks?

Patricio composed all the previous music themes for all our titles but he really wanted to go to a next level with ZC2's music and as a result we're using live musicians and instrumentation for many themes in the game. This is the first time we're working at this level.

The soundtrack is better produced, recorded, mixed... etc.. than any of our previous efforts.

Wow, that certainly got me extra excited for the game. I love behind the scenes things. I will be excited for the larger soundtrack too, because if I am correct, the original ZC had 18 tracks in it.

Bleh, now I wish I'd preordered the special edition and not the normal version. Will it be possible to get the soundtrack "alone" too?

The devs said they're probably going to sell it on iTunes: http://steamcommunity.com/app/215690/discu...20513899963417/

I'm not sure, but I think you can get a refund on Steam pre-orders, so if Steam Support get back to you quickly you could then buy the special edition. But that's very unlikely seeing as the game is being released in just over a day.

I still haven't started the process to get the OST on other digital stores (we've just been too busy). I'll probably schedule this for after the release. I'll post here once it's up elsewhere.
