We're happy to announce that the Zeno Clash model pack for Garry's Mod has been released as free downloadable content for everyone who has purchased our game. The pack includes over 60 models including characters, creatures and weapons of the crazy world of Zenozoik. We hope that everyone enjoys playing around with the new content and we expect to see funny videos and pictures from the community. wink.gif

* To install the model pack go to your 'Tools' tab in Steam, and download 'Zeno Clash Models'
* Click on this link for info on how to enable the Zeno Clash models in GMod

What is this? Does it add new characters to the game?

No. It enables our character models to be used in another 'sandbox' game where you can play around with assets and do stuff. The following link is an example of what a person has done with Garry's Mod and Valve Games:

GMod Idiot Box (awesome!)

If you like videos made using Gmod you should definitely watch shortbits.

Shortbits 2

Best out of his 3 in my opinion.

Can't wait to give this a go. I haven't played Garry's Mod in ages and this is the perfect reason to give it a go again.

Awesome... Now if only I owned GMod. tongue.gif

I might buy it, it's not very expensive, but I kind of have a lack of persistence when it comes to modding things. When I can't get the hang of it too soon I tend to give up. Is it easy to use for someone who has zero experience with this kind of program?

It's insanely fun! You don't have to build anything complex to enjoy it. It's more like a real sandbox game where you have hundreds of possibilities. Putting thrusters on a ragdoll with balloons always makes me laugh. Just select the proper gun and pop-pop. wink.gif

Ive had gmod 10 for over a year now, and ive made almost no building. Just posing ragdolls is fun enough for me+ther eis a lot of great feedback on offical gmod forums biggrin.gif

Glad to see the models are finally compatible with Gmod, much appreciated you guys. I've had my inkling that Ghat's clothing incorporated pieces of the Corwid, and thanks to the DLC, I got a good look at the models, and I was right. smile.gif

If anyone's interested, the shin guard on Ghat's left leg also appears on Helim, and the skull and bones on Ghat's groin region, is also on Gabel's right shoulder.

But one thing I've noticed; The rag dolls aren't compatible with the finger poser tool. I've tried it with Hunter and Ghat. Any chance you guys could address that?

Yes, it's because of the bone names. We're seeing with Garry if something can be done.

If only Outerlight had done this with The Ship.
Also, do these models have any animations or do they just have ragdolls?

They managed to transform all the characters into regular npcs. Check out this link (Youtube video)

Here's a link from ChileanWolf to a download to get this working... Zeno Clash following SNPCs

So yes, they do have animations.
