ACE Team Board _ Editing _ Decompiling a mdl file

How do I decompile a mdl file so I have access to the games smd files etc. for all the different characters?

Have you downloaded Cannonfodder's decompiler? I haven't used it myself but I think you need the Source SDK (which I think is free to download). There might be a few steps needed to get it running too.
There are some pictures at http://tf2.gamebanana.com/tuts/6905 and it looks like you just select the .mdl to decompile and let it do its thing.

Crowbar decompiles GoldSource and Source models (MDL and ANI file formats) and provides a convenient graphical interface
