Hi Aceteam,
my brother just sent me a link to an youtube trailer of Zenoclash. So far I'm absolutely stunned by the style of the game: Just great! But theres one huge problem that definately will prevent many pontential customers from buying the game: STEAM! I would love to dl the demo to decide wether to buy it or not - but I can't, because I'm never gonna install this crappy lil shit app from VALVE. It's not just me that is annoyed by this fact: I read several forum rants from people who were amazed by the trailers but didn't get into the game because of steam. You should urgently consider to offer at least the demo without the need to install steam before. Another problem to solve is your way of selling the game. I neither have a credit card nor do I have a shitty paypal-account. I just don't like to pay via internet. You should talk to the folks over at Amazon to resell the game for you, too. That way you would enable a lot more people to get into zenoclash. Think about! Best regards from Germany, Hurenboq P.S.: ARGH! I want that Demo-Without-Steam-Link NOW |

Steam rocks... And all its haters sound the same, I wonder why.
But getting Zeno Clash on Amazon is a good idea, I second that. |

Great! Before I finalize my order: Is this retailversion playable w/o Steam? No... unfortunately for you; all copies of the game come with Steam... The game is built on Source, uses acheivements, Steam Cloud and leaderboards... too many things directly tied to Steam. If you don't like Steam and want to play the game, the only way you will be able to is by waiting for Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition for the XBLA (if you have an XBox 360). |
