What we all have been waiting for: A collectible Zeno Clash figurine!

Meet Golem, one of the most memorable characters from ZenoZoik, the beautifully bizarre world of Zeno Clash.

If you can't wait to get your hands on one of these limited-edition figurines, you can order right here!

The good guys at ShouldBee have prepared a detailed "Making of" webpage that shows exactly how this gorgeous piece of memorabilia came to be.

Here's a small excerpt of their amazing process:

I'd have to have a think about it though.

I mean $40 postage? Ehhhh.

Ah stuff it, can't resist that face. Preordered.

Just a question though, what made you choose the giant war hammer to be a part of the statue? Golem always seemed pretty non violent to me.

Cool. But, the Painted Golem looks some worse than the unpainted sculpt. wink.gif And I agree with Skaadi, the hammer is odd.

Well, where is my Father-Mother and Hunter? tongue.gif

I don't want to spoil anything, but that hammer shows up in Zeno Clash 2...

If this figurine is successful I'm sure ShouldBee will want to develop more characters, so tell all your friends about it! smile.gif

We don't know. ShouldBee is the manufacturer and they handle the sales data.

I may have bought it if it was not golem. Just don't think that's the type of thing I'd display in my house-A half nude guy with a giant hammer.

Pssh pssh.

Every house should have a statue of a half naked guy wielding a giant hammer tongue.gif Also anyone who doesn't know what Zeno Clash is would mistake his blue legs for pants unless they were REALLY looking closely.

On that subject, my Golem arrived in the mail today! Excellent craftsmanship, I'm really impressed by it.

Glad you liked it.

I'm a proud owner of a half-naked hammer weilding golem, and display him with pride. tongue.gif

Actually though, I'm curious.

I went back to ShouldBees website because I wanted to get Golem for a friend, and I thought their description was interesting.

"Golem is an ancient warrior from The Endworld in the acclaimed video game franchise, Zeno Clash. "

Warrior? I guess this this is going to be addressed in the next game, so I probably shouldn't even bother asking, but he always struck me as a judge type / authority figure, (didn't the weird writing in the room where you find him say something about it?)

I guess that's cool though, it has me wondering whether he was some kind of warrior leader back in the day. I suppose the giant hammer makes more sense now.

I think the description was drafted by ShouldBee, so it's somewhat accurate. As you guessed we'll be showing more about the Golem in the sequel, so stay tuned for more official info. Still, the hammer is definitely there for more than cosmetic purposes! smile.gif

What sort of packaging did it arrive in? Just stuff to secure the figure, or is there fancy box-art as well? I'm tempted to get it, but $90 (dat shipping) is a bit rich for my blood.

The box isn't anything too fancy... We didn't do any specific box art.

How many figures did you have made? If they sell out, do you think you would make any more?

Also, in the game the "armour" always struck me as very organic and bone-like, however on the figure here it seems more metallic/golden. Was that always the original intention, or is this artistic license/a revision? Or is the golden effect actually due to the bright flash?

The armour is supposed to be like metallic gold that fuses with the body, so bone-like is also an accurate description. I think the materiality in the toy is ok.

I understand they produced 100 figures, but I'm not sure if they've sold all yet. We purchased like 7 for the studio, so there's less stock than 93 for sure tongue.gif I can't say if they'll develop more designs/units in the future. I think it will depend mostly on ShouldBee.
