I found it a tad bit annoying to play Zeno Clash with a mouse and keyboard (Even though the game was built for it.) So I threw in x360controller.cfg (along with the undo one), and modified it a bit until it felt right in zeno clash and why not release it to the fan base so here it is!
Note: It will only work with an Xbox 360 Controller, and all you have to do is load the game and enable controller support in the options menu (under mouse tab) QUOTE //////////////////////////////////////////////// // // Xbox 360 Controller Config // For Zeno Clash // //////////////////////////////////////////////// Small mod that enables the use of your xbox 360 controller with zenoclash. To install extract in /Steam/Steamapps/Common/Zenoclash/zenozoik/ backup resource/zenoclash_english.txt first! //////////////////////////////////////////////// // Controls //////////////////////////////////////////////// A button - Block B button - Reload X button - Select Target/Use Y button - Skull Bomb Left Shoulder - Sprint Left Trigger - Power Attack Right Trigger - Normal Attack Start - Pause Analog Up - Screenshot Analog Left - Quickload Analog Right - Pause Download Enjoy! |

Note, that although auto-aim is turned on it's rather minor, you might not wanna play this with low fps, else you'll be having issues aiming during a certain sequence of the game that involves squirrels

Hey there, thanks for the config files, but I'm still having quite a struggle with the game to make my 360 pad work correctly, so maybe you could help me, since you don't seem to have any issues.
The thing is, no matter what I do, I can't seem to be able to use the right analog stick. Enabling gamepad use in the options does nothing about it, except for making the left stick use awkward by disabling staffing and only allowing turns instead... I'm really confused there. This is the first game I'm experiencing this issue with (haven't tried it with other source games tho). All I can say is that I'm using a wireless controller with the driver included in Windows XP (didn't install anything to make it work, just plugged the dongle in). I noticed in the control panel that the second stick is recognized as 2 throttles instead the square with 2 axis for the first stick. Looks like this might be my problem. Are there any particular drivers to change this? |

I have no idea sadly. The only thing that could be it is typing in
joy_name "Xbox controller" into the console or modifying 360controller.cfg to have that instead of joy_name "Xbox360 controller" May be the drivers it installed on your pc. |

QUOTE (axolotl) Edit: If anyone has an account on the Ace Team forums, it would be great if you could link the guy who posted here to this thread. (I'll do it myself tomorrow if nobody else does, I just don't have an account there yet and I'm in a bit of a hurry). Someone over on the steam forums said to link this thread here. Enjoy! |
