Rock Paper Shotgun has honored our debut game: Zeno Clash, by selecting it as one of the 50 best first person shooters on PC of all time.
It is truly an honor to be in a list among such legendary titles.

Interesting note: The #1 game of the list is Doom (well deserved), and in the article Rock Paper Shotgun included a picture of our classic Doom mod 'Batman Doom' which is crazy...

We are very proud to have received the Most Original Game of 2011 award by Machinima's Inside Gaming Awards 2011 last friday night.
This award is given to the games that are the most compelling, forward thinking, unique concepts that have a great sense of style and create vibrant conversations around them.
Without a doubt we had some exceptionally tough contenders such as Bastion, L.A. Noire, Catherine, and From Dust, and would like to congratulate them all for creating some of the most remarkable gaming experiences this year and for being an inspiration to us all.
Of course none of this would be possible without the continuous and dedicated support of all of you guys who actually play our games Thank you!
So now you know... ACE Team keeps on rockin' 2011 !! -- just WAIT and see what is in store for 2012
P.S.: Go here if you want to see the actual video of our good friends at Atlus USA receiving the award in our name (jump to 1:47)
Every year GamingExcellence.com picks the Best of E3 from the hundreds of games shown in the expo for their Special Achievement Awards.
This year Rock of Ages was awarded with the Best Downloadable Game of E3 2011 for pushing the envelope with novel ideas and an unprecedented amount of "bang for your buck." -- This is no minor feat if you consider the other four (4) nominees:
- BurgerTime: World Tour (Konami / MonkeyPaw Games)
- Journey (SCEA)
- Kinect Fun Labs (Microsoft Game Studios / Epic Games)
- PixelJunk Sidescroller (SCEA / Q Games)
Since the game has not yet been released, this is the first award we get from people lucky enough to get their hands on a pre-release build.
We hope once you get a hold of your own copy you will agree with GamingExcellence.com and help us in spreading the word to your friends on and offline.
Congrats to the Rock of Ages team!!
Great news for all indie game followers! Zeno Clash, the seminal enterprise of our Chilean indie developer ACE Team, has been recognized as one of the 100 Best PC Games of All Time by PC Gamer, who has made the list available in its February 2011 edition. Now, the entire ACE Team proudly sits alongside cult-classics like Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 2.
Who else could it be?
Big thanks to the staff of IGN for noticing our crazy indie project. We're really happy with the game's reception by the people, the press and all the gaming community in general. Yipee!
The Independent Games Festival results are out, and we're sad to announce that we couldn't take the 'Excellence in Visual Art' award home, but still it was an honor to be nominated and to be able to compete with some other fantastic indie games.
Even though we didn't win, we'd still like to celebrate the IGF event with the fans by releasing a beautiful Webcomic that sheds a little background on some of the events that take place in Zeno Clash's story. Hope everyone enjoys it. Check out the new Gallery to find the goodies!
We're thrilled with the news that Zeno Clash has been awarded 'Editor's Choice: Best Upcoming Indie' at ModDB's 2008 awards. We're honored with the pick. A big congrats to the teams behind the other great games that were also nominated in this category. All the titles are fine examples of quality independent games.
