Apparently there is quite a bit of reason to believe that the brachiosaurs had some kind of trunk on thier nose. It is one thing that does not survive fossilization, but would make sense on such a creature. The link shows some really nice models by a sculptor showing the common head and the head with a trunk. I saw this and thought "Zeno Clash!" |
