Hi there. We had no real intention to offending anyone with the animal cruelty thing since the game is extremely surreal. The chicken tutorial is a bit violent but it is also a dream sequence where Metamoq (an insane character) is the one who is killing the poor chickens.
The piggies... well... no one forces you to harm them in the game. If you are against hurting them then you can avoid them and even try to defend them from the big bad elephant. |

There are no plans for any future Gmod updates. The current model pack has all characters anyways... there's not much more content worth adding.

I found this post interesting - almost all of the Corwids are what I would consider insane (used as a insult, the inability to form reason or forge their own wills), but Metamoq always seemed quite different. Obviously his behaviour is not the model of a rational mind, but there seemed to be something esoteric in how he behaved, something that spoke to hidden knowledge, something almost Shamanistic. In this sense I always considered him apart from the rest of the Corwid, or are his delusions just as unstructured as the rest of the Corwid? -------------------- Let's Play! http://www.youtube.com/user/dekard49

In this sense I always considered him apart from the rest of the Corwid, or are his delusions just as unstructured as the rest of the Corwid? The way I see it all Corwids have a fixed idea or goal, while normal sane people have plenty of different goals. Most Corwids dont need to speak because their fixed idea does not require them to speak (walk in a straight line, bang their head against things, etc.). Metamoq wanted to fight someone, but he needed to fight someone who knew everything he knew. Once he could do this with Ghat he felt he achieved his goal and had nothing left to do. So I guess he is more structured, as his mania requires more thought than others. |

I guess you could say there is method to his madness, but it still is madness. Metamoq always seemed just as crazy as the other Corwids to me, just in a different way. His delusions are more cognitive than the others, I guess you could say.
