Wolfire is another independent game developing company seeming to be similar to Ace.
I have already mentioned two of their games before, Overgrowth (Still in the makings) and Lugaru (The prequel to OG). A link to their site: http://www.wolfire.com/ I would recommend checking them out. Anyway, they've been making a blog of just about everything they've been implementing. They also release weekly alphas to preorderers of Overgrowth. The blog is full of info, perhaps you guys could share tips? Fun Fact: The lead programmer of the team name is David, just like the programmer of Zeno Clash is. Heh. But really, check them out.  P.S.
