Hello, im new here and i just wanted to show a few of my ideas for new Zeno Clash characters.
Not really care if these would not be used in any way, i just wanted to see what people think Corwids: Raksha: weird humanoid-like with an "helmet" that resembles Animasta's but with a big smiling face and gloves with big claws in them, what he has to do is: make sculptures made out of bones, from where does he gets those bones? explorers, any dead body he finds, animals, etc, he also uses the skins to give a "retouch" to his sculptures, all an artist. In battle: he attacks very fast, in battle, he's kinda like Helim, blocks alot, attacks fast,he has a LOT of heatlh and sometimes charges like the heavy-weight enemies, he's always around his sculptures, breaking the sculptures yourself will make him go berzerk, you cannot hurt him at those moments, BUT if you manage to make him break his own sculpture, he will get all sad and weak, in this moment you can damage him like any enemy. Mak-jal: In his past life he used to be a "hitman", but one day, he failed one mission, in result, his boss ordered to rip out is tounge and burn his face and thrown out in a forest, he became insane with the rage towards all life, so he became a corwid, and what he has to do is simple: DO NOT MISS In battle: the ONLY corwid that uses weapons, but he only uses nothing more than the musket, you almost never fight him hand-to-hand but with gunfights, the only way to dodge his shots is to have give him another target and shoot him while he's distracted with that. These ideas are NOT to be taken seriously, i just wanted to share them Do you have any other character ideas? tell me! -------------------- IMA FIRIN MAH GUN

Hi there. Neat ideas. I prefer the bone-sculpture guy. Sounds a bit creepy.

I'm wondering what a Zenozoik version of this guy would look like...
http://www.au.af.mil/au/awc/cliparmy/1-29a.gif I had an idea of a corwid for a soldier, I didn't think of a back-story but he should be a harder character to fight, assuming he would exist in later ZC games and not as fan-fiction in my head.. |

Here are some others:
The scorpions: a gang of bandits that assault caravans and various travelers. Members: Ascor: a human-insect creature, with a punk-ish "air" and can actually speak english, but with a weird voice, he wears a scarf on his "mouth". I can't think of anythingelse for him now lol Nekga: a female snake-cat-humanoid, attacks with her claws and sometimes uses strong kicks that can't be blocked. Rizka: same species as Nekga, but with different fur-skin color and wears a mask that only covers here eyes, same movements as Nekga. As you can see, i can't think much for them, there are other members but i can't think of their caracteristics, but it would be a good idea to put something like them to fight in the deserts BTW, just a small not-serious question: would you use any of these ideas of mine in ZC2? -------------------- IMA FIRIN MAH GUN

Thank you, Carlos, for listening to my ideas and for liking them
Here are some other ideas (i know the ilustrations don't look like anything that would appear in ZC, im not that good in making characters): The cult of the mirror: A secret cult that belive that beyond a mirror is a "perfect world", a world that fixes all of the errors of the "normal" one, if you can call it like that. Members: Their attacks are very Kung fu-ish but weirder, they usually use sharp weapons (if there will be any in ZC2). (the person she needs is Oxameter in case someone doesn't get it) wild life: Salamander-Bat: a flying reptilian that spits acid, it has HUGE creepy eyes, and when shot down, the just walk on their 2 legs, move fast and bite hard. I know some of the info on the characters is a bit "vague", but again, i suck at making characters, i just wanted to show my ideas Tell me what you think, please! -------------------- IMA FIRIN MAH GUN

The guy who makes bone sculptures seems like a likely fellow to be a Corwid, seems to be perfect.

How about a Corwid who wants to set everyone on fire, including himself?

How about a Corwid who wants to set everyone on fire, including himself? Yeah, i personally think a pyromaniac Corwid is an incredibly good idea, even though alot of other people might have though of it already -------------------- IMA FIRIN MAH GUN

I lol'd so hard, that'd be PERFECT. Here's how I would imagine the cutscene: Ghat walks into some part of the forest. He hears a woman screaming and heads towards that direction. He sees a ties up woman next to corpses, firewood, and kindling. The fire corwid walks over with a torch and shortly before the fire is started, his twin brother which is absolutely terrified of fire comes along and puts out the torch. The two fight, the water corwid is knocked down, Ghat comes in, cutscene ends, and you fight that fire corwid. |

I'm good with thinking up original ideas. How about this?
Therian Therian has lots of health and the fight with him is divided into three stages. In all stages, he has a human body in orange robes - but his head changes throughout the stages. Stage I He has an asian looking bald human head - and fights with melee weapons or fists, no guns. Then when you wound him to two thirds of his health the second stage begins. Stage II He has a bugbird head - fights like in Stage I, but occasionally calls out - and dozens of bugbirds come to help him. Then when you would him to one third of his health, the final stage begins. Stage III He has a rath bird head - fights like in previous stages but can spit like rath birds, and calls out summoning both rathbirds and bugbirds to help him. -------------------- |

A Corwid who never sleeps. In fact, he probably wears something similar to Majora's Mask's All Night Mask to stay awake all the time.

There are some pretty neat ideas here. Both the Pyro+Twin and the Bonesculptor could make awesome corwids, in my opinion.
Since I love brainstormings here are my five cents, take them or leave them as you wish. Corwids: 1.) The Library A Trio of beings who belive themselves to be one. They all wear dark uniform cloaks, and a book strapped to their faces, leaving them essentially blind. They preach to everyone and everything they pass (yes, that includes everything from animals and other humanoids to trees and rocks) to bring an age of enlightenment. Sadly, they deliver knowledge without regard to what it is, and who they say it to. Many brave souls who ventured into corwid terratory to get rare-found answers got nothing but usless tips on mucalosaur herding, or cryptic riddles, while not one flower in the wilderness now know of the secret arts of ages past, and prophecies left untold. The trio, when they must, address eachother as such: Crow - The tallest and thinnest of the group, he aprears to be a strange bird-like creature, with a great black beak pointing out below his "mask". He is the most talkative of the group, and the only one who, from time-to-time, actually reacts to the world outside. The cover of the book he wears as a mask is marked with the symbol of an eye, and a single line of almost-faded runes. Bogrus - Bogrus is a small but wide fellow, with a nose to match his stomach. He rarely talks. He, instead, listens, and listens well. Even if he does open his mouth, it is to whisper a few hushed words into the ears of Crow. On his face, attached with a few skin-cuttingly tight thin strings is a small handbook, with the cover torn off, leaving blotchy and gray letters to be seen. Shalk - Shalk is the final silent member of the being known as the Library. He stands, hunkering under a huge basket-like construct, in wich a thousand and more books and scrolls lie, some torn, but mostly intact. None have ever seen his body, for his cloak covers most of his body, and his long, triangular head is wraped in a scroll, the ends of wich dip below his face. When angered, he emmits a low, almost hissing growl. 2.) Valish, the God A small rodent like creature, with large, bare ears, and long, thin hands, wearing a blank, skill-white mask, with holes only to show his bloodshot, small-pupiled eyes. He hides within a huge windswept system of caverns. At times, he pricks one of his fingers, and he Creates. Strange, curving symbols now fill most of the outer caverns, all of wich Valish drew. They are his children. He made them. He had no control before his "turning", and now he is the god and allmighty ruler of his creations. Sometimes, he leaves a small line untouched for years, while he might scrubb an awe-inspiring image within a minute of it's creation. It is up for him to decide. Some of the caves still have the bones of smaller creatures filtered around the floor, a sad reminder of Valish trying to expand his influence to living beings. Alass, anything that breaths cannot match his images. They get hungry, for one. ...That's it for now, I had a page of some other characters, corwids and otherwise, but I'll need to find it first! Loving this thread so far, keep it rolling! [Edit:] A Somniphobic (Aka: Post above me) corwid also sounds awesome! @ "Therian" boss idea: That sounds nice, but I don't get it... What is he supposed to be? What's his history? I'm confused! [Edit #2:] A quick Scetch of the characters. Why not? -------------------- Random scribbler and dubious madman.
