We'd like to communicate to the gaming community that we have decided to push the release date of Zeno Clash to early next year. The studio will be aiming for a February release. We apologize to all the people who were expecting the game to be released this year, but the bright side of the delay is that the additional time we'll spend on the game will ensure that we deliver a quality experience, true to the expectations of our fans. Being an independant studio has allowed us to develop this game without external pressures, so we chose not compromise the game's quality by releasing this year.
We'd also like to announce another piece of interesting news: We're submitting Zeno Clash for next year's Independent Games Festival. We'll be eagerly awaiting for the finalists list that will come out in December. To celebrate this we've uploaded three new screens in the media section, so go check them out! |

When I first saw this thread I only read "Zeno Clash to be released early". I got all excited too in my haste. Aw well, as long as the delay brings on some nice polish. As always, keep it up.

Please say there's a retail version coming as well, there has been so many shame games, I have lost my will for games I wish I could guarantee a retail version of the game in the US, but nothing is confirmed. Though we have been approached about it in the past, we have still not reached any agreements. The retail market is a difficult one in the US (especially for new independent developers with unusual new IPs). If we do sign a retail deal (like we already have with Noviy Disk for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia Lithuania, Moldavia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), ...we will obviously announce it here. |
