We've already disclosed this info a few times before... but I wanted to copy the official press release:

ACE Team, an independent video game developer based in Santiago, Chile, today announced that it will distribute Zeno Clash via Steam, Valve's digital distribution system and Direct2Drive, IGN's digital distribution marketplace in Spring 2009, for a value price of $20.00 USD. ACE Team has intentionally priced the game at only $20 in order to help give as many players as possible access to its debut title.

"It's very important for us at ACE Team that Zeno Clash reaches a broad amount of consumers", said Andres Bordeu, Co-Founder of ACE Team. "We want everyone to be able to play our title and setting a low price for the high production value that the game packs seems like the best way to share our bizarre and intriguing world. I think people will be especially happy with the price during these hard times".

We have also released 3 new screenshots with the news. You can check them out HERE

Hello. I've been keeping up with Zeno Clash since late 2007, and reading these forums for the past few months, and I just thought I'd drop in to say what fantastic news this is! Indeed, with times the way they are, it's hard spending US$50 on any game these days, but the $20 price has now guaranteed Zeno Clash as a day-one purchase for me. This pricing seems like a very wise on your part, and at the very least, it has certainly sealed the deal for me.

Anyways, I can't wait to play the game, as I've been looking forward to it for over a year now, and I'm excited that the wait is drawing to an end. I know that in the new screenshot thread you said that you can't disclose the release date quite yet, so I hope I'm not prying or anything, but might I ask, is the February 6 date mentioned on IGN accurate? I understand if you can't comment on that, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. tongue.gif

Also, the way I understand it is that the game will be launching exclusively via digital distribution (Steam, D2D, etc), but are their any plans for a boxed version, specifically for the US? Either way, I intend to buy it on day one via Steam, but I am curious about any possibilities for a boxed version later on.

Anyways, the game looks fantastic. Congratulations on the IGF nomination, as well as the game itself. You have my hopes for the utmost success with this, and all of your future ventures. smile.gif

I don't know where that came from huh.gif Actually the game will be finished late february, so it will be available for purchase probably around early/mid march. We will make public the definitive release date soon, very soon....
