Hello,
I just purchased RoA and was able to launch it fine initially. I changed the resolution to fit my monitor a little better and all of the sudden I got an out of range error message with a black screen. I use the same resolution for every other game I play (1600x1200 I believe it was). What are the instructions for resetting the games options to default through Steam before the game launches? I know you can go to Properties/Set Launch Options, but what do I insert to change the resolution settings back to default? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and that didn't help at all. Thanks! |

I'm not sure how to reset your options with launch parameters. There's an -autoconfig parameter for GoldSource/Source engine games but that may not work for Rock of Ages.
I'd try disabling SteamCloud and verifying your cache to try and redownload the original settings. |
