Golem's Heritage.*Speculation, possible SPOILER*, It's a puzzle... Options

Alright...I've played through this game a few times now and recently, I had an Idea when I was fighting those "statues" or "shadows". They are/were an advanced ancient civilization that has been all around Zenozoik, and therefor knew about the entire world and things OUTSIDE Halstedom(as opposed to its citizens). Golem is the last of them. And by "ending it all" he meant educating the citizens of Halstedom about the outside world. The Rubik's Cube is a sign of the fact that they were far ahead of their time, and so was the electricity at the end of the world.
How I got this Idea:
Golem has all that armor on his back, which was probably a regular outfit in that civilization and I recall seeing similar armor on those statues.

Devs, please tell me that I am on to something here, or that I am at least HALF right.

How about, Golem is pretty much a puppet/messenger being controlled by the big guy. One of the only ways for Golem to know everything about Ghat and Deadra and pretty much everyone else is through that guy.

That might have been how he knew Hunter was very close and how hes been watching while being unconscious/off.

Wrong, because Golem knew about Ghat and Daedra and their names before they came to him. He also seem to know their parents, which means Golem already know much about them and is not a spy. A spy is useful only when you don't know things.

So he either has a kind of omniscience, or he is connected to them in some way (maybe he is a flesh golem made from parts of them, or maybe it has to do with their parents... ), or the whole thing is some sort of prophecy and Golem was waiting for them.

About the guy with the telescope. I think he is the enemy of Golem, because : 1) Golem said he was a prisoner. 2) The statue people seem to have been his prison guards, and they look like the being with the telescope (dark blue and stone like)... so they must be on the same side.

Seeing as the end of the world is a dark and evil place, where the statue beings reign, this could mean they are the "bad guys" in the story... Also because they don't stand the light in general, which is a clear sign of evil in most stories. And Golem being their prisoner means he is with the forces of good. It might be that Golem wants to fight those statue people, and he needs allies (fighters/warriors, we are in a fight game after all) to help him. And this is why he is interested in the children of FM clan, because they can help him defeat his enemies.

If I am right, then Zeno Clash 2 we will explore the land of the statues and discover many strange places and objects, and maybe creatures too... While we try to stop the statue people from whatever they are trying to do. I also guess that there will be more group vs group fights in ZC2, because the "pain link" used by Golem has to be integrated in the game mechanics somehow.
