In ACE Team we've played a lot of stuff in our spare time... but nothing has got us more addicted than SSBB. Left 4 Dead got us to turn our heads for a while, but the sound of a 'Falcon Punch!' seduced us back to the game. We've played a lot and we recently made the official SSBB ACE Team tier list.

We play the game in team play (2 vs 2) ...sometimes with some items (no smash ball... yuk!), and sometimes without. We even have fun with the friendly damage, damage multipliers and other stuff at times. So this is NOT a pro-tournament tier list.

I've seen the pros play in youtube videos and their controllers sound like popcorn popping. None of us can make their controller sound like popcorn, so to a pro player we're just noobs.

... my main in SSBM was Captian Falcon

I only played the game a bit... but in Melee and Brawl, my best fighter was Captain Falcon.

I loved him in Melee but he was soooo nerfed in Brawl that I just couldn't keep him as my main.

Seems like many characters have an up and down cycle between games. Game & Watch was terrible in Melee and now he's so good in Brawl... so I'm guessing C.Falcon will return in all his glory in the next game...

Nooo!!! My main was Ganondorf and look where he is!!!

They should have put him in a wheelchair so at least you don't feel so frustrated when you lose. Controlling him is like controlling a brick...

My second main was Samus.... Rock bottom tier.....

¿Anyone plays Street Fighter IIITS / IV? I could never get used to the button system in SSBM (i've never played SSBB), but i like the dynamics of the game. Too bad they made SSBB for casuals and not for competition.

Sooo true. My biggest complaint. Though the previous one was a little hardcore in some areas.

Game n' Watch is so pro. When I play for keeps, he's my guy. I used to play a lot of Wolf, but I kind of get caught in his somewhat slow combo attacks.

But I usually just play random. =X

I'm also a primarily sideways Wiimote user, because unless I'm playing with friends, I don't have access to a classic or gamecube controller. The nunchuck feels too weird...moving around with a freehand. When I do get a gamecube controller though, I do a lot better.

Just wondering, anyone played Mother 3? (The game from where Lucas and the stage New Pork City are from )

The game was never released outside japan but a fan made translation patch was released some months ago. Everyone should try the game, I've played tons of RPGs but this one is easily the best.

Speaking of falcon paunches.

I've been playing Super Smash for quite some time now, but there is one character I am unbeatable with: Kirby.
That lill' bugger is simply indestructable! D:

Juan over here uses Kirby and tries to use the crappy kirbycide all the time (I'm bitter because I actually find it too effective ). Kirby is pretty strong, but I find other chars harder. (Like Mr lame & watch)

I'm back using Captian Falcon more and more, and I no longer feel he's that bad. I'm quite surprised to see him as the worst character in the 'official tier list'.
