Is Kex-Teh latin or anything like that?, I have tried to tanslate it but it's not a word, or a very common one...
Did you (ACE team) choose the name because you thougth it was cool, or was it because it meant something special in a certain language? huh.gif

I have been wondering this all day...

Not really sure of what you mean with "Kex-Teh" but if you mean the random stuff they say in the game such as "kak" and "teff" , Im pretty sure that they mean nothing in any language, they are just there to make the sentence stronger, without using cursewords or words that can be seen as violent.

Hah, kak means: Kak is an in game expression meaning something akin to 'Damn' or 'Gah', a reflexive response by characters to a bad situation or idea

Kex-Teh is Golems real name, see the Chryptography challenge in the pinned section...

'Kax-teh' ...and the origin isn't spanish. I cannot say whether it means anything or not. Edmundo created the name.
Shakur
Can Edmundo answer me then? (You are his brother, can you tell him to do so wink.gif )
Gentleman
Probably just a name Edmundo thought up. I dunno.
Shakur
He must have had an idea behind the name though...
Gentleman
It sounds mysterious?

QUOTE (Edmundo Bordeu)
Hi Shakur,
I dont really remember where I got the name from, because the first drafts of the story are more than 5 years old, but I do remember I was looking for eastern-sounding names.
Was probably influenced by Kung-Tse, sometimes credited with the invention of gunpowder. But the name does not have any secret meaning that I know of.

So now you know it, if you wondered...
